SportPro Bell 25 Round Metal 12g CO2 Cartridge Gas Magazine for GBB M9 Airsoft – Black
The 12g CO2 Cartridge Magazine is constructed from Alloy, with Polymer Feed Lips and features a Fixed Magazine Base Plate. The magazine is designed to hold up to 25 rounds and does this by ‘double stacking’ the magazine, meaning that instead of BB’s being in a line, they are stacked on-top of each other on the left and right for a bigger capacity. The magazine is filled with 6mm Airsoft BBs from either the front or the top by hand or by using an Airsoft BB Loader. The Magazine is filled with standard Airsoft Green Gas Bottles by the inlet valve at the bottom of the Magazine. This magazine is perfect for those Airsoft Skirmishers who already own a M9 Pistol, and are looking for more magazines to carry more rounds so they do not have to stop and reload their magazines before getting into another fight. The magazine is designed for Bell / Tokyo Marui type magazine wells.

Airsoft Gun Magazines Information
Airsoft weapons shoot airsoft BBs. These BBs are normally housed in the gun’s mag. These mags normally connect to the airsoft weapon very similarly to the real weapons they are modeled after. The kinds of airsoft gun magazines consist of real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity magazines.
Airsoft Weapon Mag Type Info
Airsoft weapon magazines come in several types like real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity magazines. Real capacity mags, or real-caps, imitate the quantity of airsoft BBs a real weapon would hold, which is normally about 24 to 30 BBs. Mid capability magazines, or mid-caps, allow for more airsoft BB storage with capacities about 120 to 160 BBs.
How Airsoft Magazines Work
Airsoft magazines have a series of internal channels and BB storage locations. When a BB is fired, the airsoft weapon releases the latch for a split second and loads another BB into the weapon out of the mag. CO2, GBB, and HPA guns, which use high pressure air or green gas, will often stash the gas or feed air in through the magazine.
Airsoft Rifle Magazines Info
Airsoft rifle mags are frequently used in automatic electric guns (AEGs) and some kinds of sniper rifles. The magazines are specific to the kind of AEG rifle plus all of the kinds of that rifle are cross-compatible with the mags. Understand how airsoft guns work. The AEG mags are inserted into the weapon’s mag well. For example M4 style AEG magazines would generally operate in all M4 style rifles from a short CBQ weapon with a 10″ barrel made by KWA to a designated marksman rifle (DMR) platform with a 24″ made by Lancer Tactical or Elite Force. The same cross-compatibility would apply to AK47 AEG mags with swapability in between different AK rifle platforms. AEG rifle magazines can keep between 60 to 200+ airsoft BBs.
Details About Airsoft SMG Mags
Airsoft SMG mags AEG are usually separated by gun design and functional between various submachine guns. Hecker and Koch H&K MP5 AEG mags are made to operate in different MP5s like the MP5K or MP5SD. P90, KRISS Vector, and TMP AEG mags are swappable between the same weapon series. These SMG magazines also come in real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity variations with BB storage capacities varying from around 24 airsoft BBs with real capacity mags to over 200 BBs with high capacity magazines. Rifle Magazines for Green Gas and HPA Systems Green gas rifles (including GBB variations) and weapons powered by high pressure air (HPA) typically have their own custom design depending on the airsoft gun brand. These magazines use air and gas to function so the mags frequently include builtin gas storage areas or are pre-tapped for HPA tank hookups. The mags used in GBB guns accumulate gas in the mag so the rifle cycles every shot and feeds in the next BB. HPA pre-tapped magazines use HPA lines which are linked to the valves and permit the pressurized air to stream in through the magazine. This setup feeds the airsoft BBs into the HPA weapon.
Airsoft Pistol Mags
Airsoft handgun mags are typically less versatile when compared to the AEG magazines used in rifles and SMGs. Handguns mags differ by type and often use CO2 or green gas (propane) housed in the mag. The mag is placed into the pistol’s grip like the standard gun design. Pistol mags are typically interchangeable between comparable models of the same airsoft gun manufacturer, however are often not cross-brand suitable unless they are specifically designed for that function. Learning about the specific types of airsoft sidearms can give you more insight to how their pistol mags work. The majority of airsoft pistol mags store around 20 to 30 airsoft BBs.
