About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units generally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, pick a standard group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Many special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments typically have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who use these patches have the reputation that originates from completing that operation, assignment, or mission. Mission patches are a great method to highlight who was there when the mission happened.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the manufacturer. The main front of the patch normally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing.
About Tactical Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Warrior Sparta Molon Labe Tactical Embroidery Patch Hook & Loop Morale Patch Military Patch for Clothing Accessory Backpack Armband (4pcs) made by the Tactical Embroidery Patch generally hold up pretty well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity. Anchoring a thread includes taking a sewing needle and stitching the thread back into the material numerous times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches sewn onto uniforms or attached to equipment. However, it is a good suggestion to remove Velcro patches prior to cleaning since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear. Clean with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
