About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units usually have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, select a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit. You can use these team patches for group acknowledgment, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is a great way to grow comradery within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Campaign Specific Patches
Many special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments usually have their own patches. Unit members or game players who wear these patches have the status that originates from completing that mission, operation, or assignment. Mission patches are a great way to highlight who attended when the mission occurred.
Morale Patch Attachment
Many morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is generally found on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, vest, or uniform panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to stick to the positioning area. Sew-on patches need to use strong matching thread and sewing machines to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The main front of the patch generally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing.
