Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. Select a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit if you are a group leader. You can use these team patches for group acknowledgment, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is an excellent method to develop comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the reputation that originates from finishing that mission, assignment, or tour of duty. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a good way to highlight who was there.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is usually located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the vest, bag, or uniform panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the placement area. Sew-on patches need to use sturdy matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The primary front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the US Embassy Seal of The President Military Hook Loop Tactics Morale Embroidered Patch made by the Embroidery Patch typically hold up pretty well. Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches stitched onto uniforms or connected to gear.
