About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units typically have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a standard group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who display these patches have the reputation that originates from completing that campaign, assignment, or mission. Mission patches are a great way to highlight who was there when the mission happened.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is typically seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, vest, or uniform panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to stick to the placement spot. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the supplier. The primary front of the patch normally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing.
