About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units typically have a group patch or patch set. Pick a standard group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit if you are a group leader. You can use these team patches for team recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is a great method to grow comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions typically have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the prestige that comes from finishing that operation, assignment, or mission. Mission patches are a great way to highlight who attended when the mission took place.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is normally seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, bag, or vest panel. Other types of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to stick to the positioning spot. Sew-on patches should use strong matching thread and sewing machines to connect to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the manufacturer. The main front of the patch typically includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing panel.
