About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units typically have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
Many special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or players who display these patches have the status that originates from finishing that assignment, mission, or operation. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who participated.
Morale Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is generally located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, vest, or uniform panel. Other types of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the placement area. Sew-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to connect to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The primary front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Tactical Embroidered Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Star Wars Boba Fett Calico Jack Morale Patch Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Military Patch Fabric Embroidered Badges Patch Tactical Stickers for Clothes with Hook & Loop made by the Tactical Embroidered Patch normally hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity.
Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches sewn onto uniforms or attached to gear. Nevertheless, it is an excellent idea to take off Velcro patches before cleaning because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment. Clean with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
