About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft squads, and military units generally have a group patch or patch set. Select a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these team patches for team recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is an excellent method to develop camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Campaign Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who display these patches have the status that originates from completing that mission, operation, or task. Mission patches are a great method to highlight who participated when the mission took place.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is generally seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, uniform, or vest panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the placement spot. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to connect to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The primary front of the patch typically consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing area.
About Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Stalker S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Factions Loners Chernobyl Military Hook Loop Tactics Morale Embroidered Patch made by the Embroidery Patch typically hold up pretty well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life. Anchoring a thread includes taking a threaded needle and stitching the thread back into the material numerous times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is a great plan to remove Velcro patches prior to cleaning given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment.
