SportPro Bell 22 Round Metal 12g CO2 Cartridge Gas Magazine for GBB M1911 Airsoft – Black
The 12g CO2 Cartridge Magazine is constructed from Alloy, with Polymer Feed Lips and features a Fixed Magazine Base Plate. The magazine is designed to hold up to 22 rounds and does this by ‘double stacking’ the magazine, meaning that instead of BB’s being in a line, they are stacked on-top of each other on the left and right for a bigger capacity. The magazine is filled with 6mm Airsoft BBs from either the front or the top by hand or by using an Airsoft BB Loader. The Magazine is filled with standard Airsoft Green Gas Bottles by the inlet valve at the bottom of the Magazine. This magazine is perfect for those Airsoft Skirmishers who already own a M1911 Pistol, and are looking for more magazines to carry more rounds so they do not have to stop and reload their magazines before getting into another fight. The magazine is designed for Bell / Tokyo Marui type magazine wells.

Airsoft Gun Mags Information

Airsoft guns shoot airsoft BBs. These BBs are typically housed in the gun’s magazine. These magazines normally attach to the airsoft weapon similar to the genuine weapons they are created after. The kinds of airsoft gun magazines consist of real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity mags.

Airsoft Gun Mag Type Details

Airsoft gun magazines are manufactured in a number of types like real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity mags. These types most often relate to AEG magazines. Real capacity mags, or real-caps, imitate the supply of airsoft BBs a real weapon would store, which is normally around 24 to 30 BBs. Mid capability mags, or mid-caps, permit more airsoft BB space with capacities around 120 to 160 BBs. High capacity magazines, or high-caps, offer airsoft gamers the most storage space with around 200 rounds of BB storage volume. Something to take note of about high-cap mags is that airsoft fields frequently limit their use during games because they allow players firing too much ammunition to spray-and-pray during gameplay.

How Airsoft Mags Work

Airsoft mags have a series of internal channels and BB storage areas. When a BB is fired, the airsoft gun releases the latch for a split second and loads another BB into the weapon out of the magazine. GBB, HPA, and CO2 weapons, which use high pressure air or green gas, will typically stash the gas or feed air in through the magazine.

Airsoft Rifle Magazines Info

Airsoft rifle magazines are most often used in automatic electric guns (AEGs) and some types of sniper rifles. Learn about how airsoft guns like spring, AEG, and green gas rifles shoot BBs. The mags are particular to the type of AEG rifle and all of the types of that rifle are cross-compatible with the mags. The AEG mags are inserted into the gun’s magazine well.

High Capacity LMG Magazine Information

Some airsoft AEG guns and light machine guns, or LMGs, use very large capacity magazines. They can carry up to thousands of BBs and provide fire support for a unit or fireteam.

Info on Airsoft SMG Mags

Airsoft SMG mags AEG are similarly separated by gun design and functional in between various submachine guns. These SMG mags also come in real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity variations with BB storage capacities ranging from around 24 airsoft BBs with real capacity mags to over 200 BBs with high capacity mags. Rifle Mags for Green Gas and HPA Systems These mags use air and gas to work so the mags often come with builtin gas tanks or pre-tapped for HPA tank connections. The mags used in GBB weapons store gas in the mag so the rifle cycles every shot and feeds in the next BB.

Airsoft Handgun Magazines Info

Airsoft handgun magazines are typically less versatile when compared to the AEG mags used in rifles and SMGs. Most airsoft handgun mags can hold around 20 to 30 airsoft BBs.
