About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units typically have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, pick a basic group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the status that originates from completing that mission, campaign, or task. Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who participated when the mission occurred.
Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is usually seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, vest, or bag panel. Other kinds of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to stick to the placement spot. Stitch-on patches should use sturdy matching thread and sewing machines to connect to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The main front of the patch typically includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Tactical Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Russian Chevron StripPolite Soldier Tactical Embroidery Patch Hook & Loop Morale Patch Military Patch for Clothing Accessory Backpack Armband (color1) made by the Tactical Embroidery Patch generally hold up pretty well. Ensure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life. Anchoring a thread includes taking a needle and stitching the thread back into the material numerous times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good plan to take off Velcro patches before washing because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear.
