Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who display these patches have the prestige that originates from finishing that assignment, mission, or campaign. When the mission happened, Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who participated.
Morale Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches must use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the manufacturer. The main front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing area.
About RedheadedTshirts Morale Patches
Patches like the Rocky Trump Morale Patch Funny Tactical Military by RedheadedTshirts. Made in The USA! made by the RedheadedTshirts usually hold up quite well. Make certain to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy. Anchoring a thread involves taking a needle with the thread through the eye and stitching the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Most morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches sewn onto uniforms or connected to gear. It is a good plan to take off Velcro patches prior to washing considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear. Clean with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
