Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft squads, and military units usually have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit. You can use these group patches for team recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is an excellent way to grow camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Campaign Specific Patches
Many special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the reputation that originates from finishing that mission, operation, or task. When the mission happened, Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who attended.
Morale Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is typically seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, uniform, or vest panel. Other types of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to adhere to the placement spot. Sew-on patches must use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the maker. The main front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing area.
About Tactical PVC Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Resident Evil Umbrella Morale Military Patch 3D PVC Rubber Tactical Rubber Hook Patch made by the Tactical PVC Patch typically hold up pretty well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan.
Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches sewn onto uniforms or connected to equipment.
