About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units normally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the reputation that comes from completing that mission, campaign, or assignment. When the mission happened, Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who was there.
Morale Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is usually located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, vest, or uniform panel. Other types of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to adhere to the positioning area. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to connect to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The primary front of the patch normally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing area.
About mybrand Morale Patches
Patches like the Psalm 28:7 Religious Eternal Life Bible Verse Faith Theme – Premium Embroidered Patch Iron On or Sew On Christian Biker Emblem Decorative Outdoor Indoor Gear Appliques made by the mybrand generally hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy.
Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches stitched onto uniforms or attached to equipment. However, it is a great suggestion to remove Velcro patches before washing given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear. Clean with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
