About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units normally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a basic group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who use these patches have the status that comes from completing that assignment, operation, or mission. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are a great method to highlight who attended.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the supplier. The primary front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing.
About ODSP Morale Patches
Patches like the ODSP Service Dog Stop Do Not Distract Do Not Pet Emblem Embroidered Fastener Hook & Loop Tactical Morale Patch for Harness Vest 3 inches Wide by 3 inches Tall Pack of 2 made by the ODSP typically hold up pretty well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s service life.
Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches stitched onto uniforms or connected to equipment. It is a great plan to take off Velcro patches before cleaning because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment. Clean with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
