About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units typically have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, select a basic group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
Many special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who wear these patches have the status that comes from finishing that mission, operation, or assignment. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who was there.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches need to use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the producer. The primary front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing.
About NEO Tactical Gear Morale Patches
Patches like the NRA B PVC Rubber Morale Patch, Hook Backed Morale Patch by NEO Tactical Gear made by the NEO Tactical Gear usually hold up quite well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent idea to remove Velcro patches prior to cleaning because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment.
