About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units generally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who wear these patches have the prestige that originates from completing that operation, mission, or assignment. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are a good way to highlight who attended.
Patch Attachment
Many morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches need to use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the maker. The primary front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing area.
About Zhikang68 Morale Patches
Patches like the National Police SWAT Special Forces Patch Tactical Gear Military Embroidered Morale Sew on Emblem Applique for Coat Jacket Gear Cap Hat Backpack (SWAT) made by the Zhikang68 generally hold up pretty well. Make certain to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy. Anchoring a thread includes taking a needle with the thread through the eye and stitching the thread back into the material several times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good plan to take off Velcro patches prior to cleaning given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment.
