About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, funny sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft squads, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. Select a standard group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these team patches for team recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is a great way to develop camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who display these patches have the status that originates from finishing that task, campaign, or mission. Mission patches are a great method to highlight who attended when the mission happened.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is normally found on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, vest, or uniform panel. Other types of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to adhere to the positioning area. Stitch-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The main front of the patch normally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing area.
About Tactical Embroidery Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the NASA Space Center Astronaut Program Tactical Embroidery Patch Hook & Loop Morale Patch Military Patch for Clothing Accessory Backpack Armband made by the Tactical Embroidery Patch typically hold up pretty well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity.
Morale Patch Care
It is a great plan to remove Velcro patches before washing given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear.
