M.T FILBE Assault Pack consist of one main compartment and a fixed front pocket. The main compartment and the front pocket is capable of being secure closed using slide fasteners. Mesh pockets on the inside of the main compartment and front pocket shall keep small items secure. The Tactical Assault Pack has a removable plastic frame sheet. The exterior of the Assault Backpack shall have PALS webbing used to mount modular pouches.
FILBE Assault Pack has adjustable, padded shoulder straps and an adjustable webbing hip belt, used to carry the pack. The shoulder straps and hip belt is capable of being stowed inside the back panel of the pack when not being used. The Assault Pack has webbing straps on the exterior used to compress loads carried and attach the pack on the Main Pack. The real evidence that this pack was over engineered. There are backup metal shoulder strap buckles just in case the main straps or buckles fail.
The MT FILBE Military Assault Pack has an internal Radio pocket capable of accommodating the single Channel Ground Radio. Padded foam back, sternum strap and waist belt, and carry handle. The top of the Assault pack has a handle to aid in carrying when not worn on the back and two access ports used for routing antennae or similar sized equipment out of the main compartment. The Assault Pack shall has a means of allowing water to drain out.
The Assault Pack has an approximate internal volume of 1525 cubic inches in the main compartment and 300 cubic inches in the front pocket. One Assault Pouch is included with the M.T Assault Pack System. The pouch is capable of being mounted onto MOLLE PALS webbing. The pouch has a means of allowing water to drain out. A slide fastener along the top of the pouch can secure the pouch closed.
The MT FILBE can be easily and quickly donned and doffed. When in use, the entire system or individual components will not impede proper head rotation of the user while standing or in prone position, or carrying and shouldering of equipment in all position.
