About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft squads, and military units generally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your squad. You can use these team patches for group recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is a great method to develop comradery within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
Many special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions typically have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who use these patches have the status that originates from finishing that operation, mission, or task. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are a good way to highlight who attended.
Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the maker. The main front of the patch generally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing.
About Tactical PVC Patch Morale Patches
Patches like the Marvel Avengers Agents of Shield Logo Morale Military Patch 3D PVC Rubber Tactical Rubber Hook Patch (Gray) made by the Tactical PVC Patch generally hold up pretty well. Make certain to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life. Anchoring a thread includes taking a needle with the thread through the eye and sewing the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
The majority of morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches sewn onto uniforms or connected to gear. It is a great idea to remove Velcro patches prior to washing since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear. Wash with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
