About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units normally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, select a standard group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit. You can use these group patches for team acknowledgment, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is an excellent method to build camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Mission Specific Patches
Many special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions typically have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the prestige that comes from finishing that campaign, assignment, or mission. Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who participated when the mission happened.
Morale Patch Attachment
Many morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the manufacturer. The primary front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing panel.
