About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the reputation that comes from completing that operation, assignment, or mission. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a great way to highlight who participated.
Morale Patch Attachment
Many morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The primary front of the patch generally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing.
About ODSP Morale Patches
Patches like the Glow in Dark Medic Cross First Aid Patches, EMS EMT MED Medical Rescue Tactica Military Morale Combat Armband Badges with Hook and Loop Fastener Backing, 3.54 x 1.97 Inch, 2 Pieces made by the ODSP typically hold up quite well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent plan to take off Velcro patches prior to cleaning since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear.
