About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, pick a basic group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who use these patches have the reputation that comes from finishing that task, campaign, or mission. Mission patches are a great way to highlight who attended when the mission occurred.
Morale Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches need to use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the maker. The main front of the patch normally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing area.
About Gadsden and Culpeper Morale Patches
Patches like the Evil Santa AR-15 Tactical Morale Patch made by the Gadsden and Culpeper normally hold up pretty well. Make certain to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity. Anchoring a thread involves taking a sewing needle and sewing the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is a great idea to remove Velcro patches before cleaning considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear.
