About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units generally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, pick a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the prestige that originates from finishing that tour of duty, mission, or campaign. Mission patches are a great method to highlight who participated when the mission took place.
Morale Patch Attachment
Many morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches must use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the producer. The primary front of the patch generally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Square Deal Recordings & Supplies Morale Patches
Patches like the Eat, Sleep, Go Fishing – Oval Logo With Striped Bass Fish – Embroidered Iron On Or Sew On Patch made by the Square Deal Recordings & Supplies normally hold up quite well. Make certain to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity. Anchoring a thread involves taking a threaded needle and sewing the thread back into the material numerous times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches sewn onto uniforms or attached to gear. It is a good idea to remove Velcro patches before washing given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear. Wash with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
