About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units typically have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, select a standard group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who use these patches have the status that comes from finishing that campaign, task, or mission. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a great way to highlight who attended.
Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches should use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The primary front of the patch normally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing.
About Appalachian Spirit Morale Patches
Patches like the Custom Embroidered Name Tag Iron Sew Hook Fastener Patch (Customize) 4 x 1 made by the Appalachian Spirit generally hold up pretty well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent plan to remove Velcro patches prior to cleaning since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear.
