About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units usually have a group patch or patch set. Pick a standard group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit if you are a group leader. You can use these team patches for team recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is a great way to build comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who wear these patches have the prestige that comes from finishing that operation, mission, or task. Mission patches are a great method to highlight who was there when the mission happened.
Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the maker. The primary front of the patch typically consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing area.
About Chien Morale Patches
Patches like the Chien Tactical Morale Embroidery Patch Funny Military Patch USA Flag Full Embroidered Appliques for Caps Bags Vests Military Uniforms (4 Pieces USA Flags) made by the Chien typically hold up quite well. Make certain to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy. Anchoring a thread includes taking a needle with the thread through the eye and sewing the thread back into the material several times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Most morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches sewn onto uniforms or attached to gear. However, it is an excellent idea to remove Velcro patches before cleaning because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear. Clean with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
