About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units generally have a group patch or patch set. Select a basic group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these group patches for team acknowledgment, awards, achievements, and rank advances. It is a great method to grow camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Campaign Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or players who display these patches have the reputation that originates from completing that tour of duty, mission, or campaign. When the mission happened, Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who was there.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches should use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The primary front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing.
About BritKitUSA Morale Patches
Patches like the BritKitUSA Large 3×5 Arizona State Flag Morale Patch Grand Canyon State AZ Ditat Deus Hook & Loop Backing made by the BritKitUSA typically hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity. Anchoring a thread involves taking a sewing needle and stitching the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good idea to take off Velcro patches prior to cleaning given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear.
