About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units usually have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your squad. You can use these group patches for team recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is a great way to create comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments typically have their own patches. Unit members or players who wear these patches have the status that comes from completing that task, operation, or mission. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a great method to highlight who participated.
Morale Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is generally located on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, bag, or vest panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to stick to the positioning spot. Stitch-on patches need to use sturdy matching thread and stitching machines to connect to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The primary front of the patch normally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing area.
About Tactical Freaky Morale Patches
Patches like the Big 3×5 Multicam Infrared IR Arizona Flag IFF Tactical Morale Fastener Patch made by the Tactical Freaky generally hold up pretty well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent plan to take off Velcro patches prior to cleaning given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment.
