About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. Pick a standard group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these group patches for team recognition, awards, achievements, and rank advances. It is an excellent way to grow comradery within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or players who display these patches have the prestige that comes from finishing that mission, assignment, or tour of duty. Mission patches are a good way to highlight who was there when the mission happened.
Morale Patch Attachment
Many morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The primary front of the patch normally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing area.
About BASTION Morale Patches
Patches like the Bastion Tactical Combat Badge PVC Morale Patch Hook and Loop Patch – .45cal Bullet Blu made by the BASTION normally hold up quite well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent plan to remove Velcro patches before cleaning since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear.
