About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units typically have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a standard group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who wear these patches have the prestige that comes from finishing that operation, mission, or assignment. Mission patches are a great way to highlight who participated when the mission happened.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is generally found on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the vest, bag, or uniform panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to stick to the placement spot. Sew-on patches should use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The main front of the patch normally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing.

Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent idea to take off Velcro patches prior to cleaning because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment.
