About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units generally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, select a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the reputation that originates from finishing that assignment, mission, or operation. Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who attended when the mission took place.
Morale Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is generally found on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, vest, or uniform panel. Other kinds of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the placement spot. Sew-on patches should use sturdy matching thread and stitching machines to connect to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the producer. The primary front of the patch generally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Appalachian Spirit Morale Patches
Patches like the Arctic Circle Polar Bear 3.5 Embroidered Patch DIY Iron-on or Sew-on Decorative Vacation Travel Souvenir Applique Explore Wander Nature Wildlife Series Wolves Wildlife Hike Trek Camping National Park made by the Appalachian Spirit normally hold up quite well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good idea to take off Velcro patches before washing considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear.
