About Morale Patches

Morale patches allow you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and includes text, images, and graphics.

Morale Patches for Teams

Tactical teams, airsoft squads, and military units typically have a team patch or patch set. Select a basic group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit if you are a group leader. You can use these team patches for group acknowledgment, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is an excellent way to build camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.

Mission Specific Patches

Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions generally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who use these patches have the prestige that originates from finishing that assignment, operation, or mission. When the mission happened, Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who attended.

Morale Patch Attachment

Many morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is typically found on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, bag, or vest panel. Other types of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the placement area. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.

Kinds Of Patch Material

Morale patch material depends upon the manufacturer. The main front of the patch typically consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing area.
