About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like motion picture quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft squads, and military units typically have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your squad. You can use these team patches for team acknowledgment, awards, achievements, and rank advances. It is a great way to build comradery within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the prestige that comes from completing that campaign, mission, or task. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are a good way to highlight who participated.
Morale Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is generally seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, vest, or bag panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to stick to the placement area. Sew-on patches should use strong matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the maker. The main front of the patch typically consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Antrix Morale Patches
Patches like the Antrix 3 Pack Trump Make America Great Again/Make America Great Again Hook & Loop Tactical Military Morale Badge Patches made by the Antrix usually hold up pretty well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good idea to remove Velcro patches prior to cleaning considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear.
