Airsoft Gun Magazine Product Details
Amoeba AM4 6mm BB Airsoft Gun Magazines (Pack of 5), Black, Hi-Cap (250 Rounds)
The Amoeba High Grade Airsoft Mags are constructed out of a strong polymer material. This is what the “High Grade” denotes on the box, a more durable external polymer, and a slightly stronger inner spring. The external front portion of the Mag is textured for grip especially when using gloves. Towards the base plate is a built in folding Mag pull offering the user an easy-to-grab tab to pull when reloading. The Mag holds up to 140 rounds which is a slightly higher capacity than standard M4 airsoft mags, resulting in a higher total round count in a given set of Mags. Have a couple of these in your load out to make sure you have the fire power to take on opponents.

Airsoft Weapon Magazines
These magazines normally connect to the airsoft gun the same as the genuine weapons they are modeled after. The types of airsoft gun magazines include real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity mags.
About Airsoft Gun Magazine Types
Airsoft gun magazines come in a number of types like real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity magazines. Real capacity mags, or real-caps, replicate the amount of airsoft BBs a genuine weapon would store, which is generally about 24 to 30 BBs. Mid capability mags, or mid-caps, permit for more airsoft BB storage with capacities around 120 to 160 BBs.
Info on How Airsoft Mags Work
Airsoft mags have a series of internal channels and BB storage areas. When a BB is fired, the airsoft weapon releases the lock for a fraction of a second and loads another BB into the weapon out of the mag. CO2, HPA, and GBB guns, which use high pressure air or green gas, will often house the gas or feed air in through the magazine.
Airsoft Rifle Mags Information
Airsoft rifle mags are most typically used in automatic electric guns (AEGs) and some types of sniper rifles. Find out how airsoft guns like spring, AEG, and green gas rifles shoot BBs. The magazines are particular to the type of AEG rifle and all of the types of that rifle are cross-compatible with the mags. The AEG mags are inserted into the weapon’s mag well.
Did You Know?
Some airsoft AEGs and squad machine guns use high-cap box magazines. They can carry up to 1000s of BBs and provide fire support for a squad or fireteam during fights.
Airsoft SMG Magazines Details
Airsoft SMG mags AEG are similarly separated by weapon design and usable between different submachine guns (SMGs). These SMG mags also come in real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity variations with BB storage capacities varying from around 24 airsoft BBs with real capacity mags to over 200 BBs with high capacity magazines. Rifle Mags for Green Gas and HPA Systems Green gas rifles (consisting of GBB versions) and weapons powered by high pressure air (HPA) frequently have their own custom-made design depending upon the airsoft weapon brand. These mags use air and gas to work so the magazines typically feature builtin gas storage or are pre-tapped for HPA tank hookups. The mags used in GBB guns accumulate gas in the mag so the rifle cycles every shot and feeds in the next BB. HPA pre-tapped mags use HPA lines which are hooked up to the valves and allow the pressurized air to flow in through the magazine. This setup feeds the airsoft BBs into the HPA gun.
Airsoft Handgun Magazines
When compared to the AEG mags used in smgs and rifles, Airsoft pistol magazines are typically less flexible. Handguns mags vary by type and typically use CO2 or green gas (propane) stored in the magazine. The magazine is placed into the handgun’s grip like the basic gun style. Handgun mags are frequently interchangeable in between similar designs of the exact same airsoft weapon manufacturer, but are often not cross-brand suitable unless they are particularly created for that purpose. Learning about the different styles of airsoft pistols gives you more insight to how their mags work. Most airsoft handgun mags store around 20 to 30 airsoft BBs.
