About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units normally have a group patch or patch set. Pick a basic group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these team patches for group recognition, awards, achievements, and rank advances. It is a great method to build comradery within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Campaign Specific Patches
Many special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who use these patches have the prestige that originates from completing that assignment, campaign, or mission. When the mission happened, Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who participated.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is generally found on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the vest, uniform, or bag panel. Other kinds of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to stick to the placement area. Stitch-on patches should use sturdy matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The primary front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing.
About RedheadedTshirts Morale Patches
Patches like the AK47 Playing Cards Morale Patch. 2×3 Hook Patch. Redhaededtshirts Made in The USA made by the RedheadedTshirts typically hold up quite well. Ensure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan. Anchoring a thread involves taking a sewing needle and stitching the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches stitched onto uniforms or attached to equipment. Nevertheless, it is an excellent suggestion to remove Velcro patches before cleaning since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment. Clean with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
