About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units usually have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the prestige that comes from completing that assignment, mission, or campaign. Mission patches are a great method to highlight who participated when the mission happened.
Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The primary front of the patch generally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing area.
About Gadsden and Culpeper Morale Patches
Patches like the AK-47 Tactical Patches made by the Gadsden and Culpeper typically hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s service life.
Morale Patch Care
The majority of morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches sewn onto uniforms or attached to equipment. Nevertheless, it is an excellent choice to take off Velcro patches prior to washing because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear. Wash with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
