Details About Airsoft Gun Mags
These magazines usually connect to the airsoft weapon very similarly to the genuine weapons they are designed after. The types of airsoft gun mags consist of real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity mags.
Information on Airsoft Weapon Mag Types
Airsoft weapon mags come in a few types like real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity mags. Real capacity mags, or real-caps, replicate the quantity of airsoft BBs a real gun would hold, which is typically about 24 to 30 BBs. Mid capability mags, or mid-caps, permit for additional airsoft BB storage with capacities about 120 to 160 BBs.
Airsoft Magazine Functionality Details
Airsoft magazines have a series of internal channels and BB storage spaces. The BBs are normally packed into these channels with a spring attached to the really far end. When the BBs are filled, they compress the spring developing tension. On the load end, a small lock holds the BBs in the mag. When a BB is fired, the airsoft weapon releases the latch for an instant and loads another BB into the weapon out of the magazine. GBB, CO2, and HPA guns, which use compressed air or green gas, will typically store the gas or feed air in through the mag. This feeds BBs into the guns for these kinds of systems.
About Airsoft Rifle Mags
Airsoft rifle magazines are most typically used in automatic electric guns (AEGs) and some types of sniper rifles. Find out how airsoft guns like spring, AEG, and green gas rifles shoot BBs. The mags are specific to the type of AEG rifle and all of the types of that rifle are cross-compatible with the mags. The AEG mags are inserted into the gun’s mag well.
About High Capacity LMG Mags
Some airsoft AEG guns and light machine guns, or LMGs, use very large capacity magazines. They can store up to thousands of airsoft BBs and provide fire support for a unit or fireteam during battlefield engagements.
Airsoft SMG Mags
Airsoft SMG magazines AEG are similarly separated by gun design and usable in between various submachine guns. These SMG mags also come in real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity variations with BB storage capacities ranging from around 24 airsoft BBs with real capacity mags to over 200 BBs with high capacity mags. Rifle Magazines for Green Gas and HPA Systems These magazines use air and gas to function so the magazines frequently come with builtin gas reservoirs or pre-tapped for HPA tank connections. The mags used in GBB guns keep gas in the mag so the rifle cycles every shot and feeds in the next BB.
Airsoft Pistol Mags Information
Airsoft pistol mags are often less versatile when compared to the AEG mags used in smgs and rifles. A lot of airsoft pistol mags hold around 20 to 30 airsoft BBs.
