Information About Airsoft Weapon Magazines
Airsoft weapons shoot airsoft BBs. These BBs are typically stored in the weapon’s mag. These mags normally attach to the airsoft gun very similarly to the real weapons they are imitated. The kinds of airsoft gun magazines consist of real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity mags.
Airsoft Gun Magazine Types
Airsoft weapon mags come in multiple types like real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity mags. Real capacity mags, or real-caps, simulate the quantity of airsoft BBs a genuine weapon would house, which is usually about 24 to 30 BBs. Mid capability magazines, or mid-caps, enable for more airsoft BB storage with capacities around 120 to 160 BBs.
About How Airsoft Magazines Work
Airsoft mags have a series of internal channels and BB storage locations. The BBs are normally loaded into these channels with a spring connected to the very far end. When the BBs are filled, they compress the spring producing stress. On the load end, a little latch holds the BBs in the mag. When a BB is fired, the airsoft weapon launches the latch for a fraction of a second and loads another BB into the weapon out of the mag. GBB, CO2, and HPA guns, which use high pressure air or green gas, will often save the gas or feed air in through the mag. This feeds BBs into the guns for these kinds of systems.
About Airsoft Rifle Mags
Airsoft rifle magazines are most often used in automatic electric guns (AEGs) and some types of sniper rifles. The mags are related to the type of AEG rifle plus most of the kinds of that rifle are cross-compatible with the mags. Understand how airsoft weapons function. The AEG magazines are placed into the weapon’s mag insertion area. For instance M4 design AEG magazines would usually operate in all M4 design rifles from a brief CBQ weapon with a 10″ barrel made by KWA to a designated marksman rifle (DMR) platform with a 24 inch barrel. The same idea would apply to AK47 AEG mags with swapability in between various AK rifle platforms. AEG rifle magazines can hold in between 60 to 200+ airsoft BBs.
Details About Airsoft SMG Mags
Airsoft SMG mags AEG are similarly separated by gun design and usable between different submachine guns (SMGs). These SMG magazines also come in real capacity, mid capacity, and high capacity versions with BB storage capacities ranging from around 24 airsoft BBs with real capacity mags to over 200 BBs with high capacity mags. Rifle Mags for Green Gas and HPA Systems Green gas rifles (including GBB versions) and weapons powered by high pressure air (HPA) frequently have their own customized style depending on the airsoft gun brand. These mags use air and gas to work so the magazines often feature builtin gas reservoirs or pre-tapped for HPA tank hookups. The magazines used in GBB weapons accumulate gas in the mag so the rifle cycles every shot and feeds in the next BB. HPA pre-tapped magazines use HPA lines which are linked to the valves and let the pressurized air to stream in through the mag. This setup feeds the airsoft BBs into the HPA gun.
Airsoft Pistol Mags
Airsoft handgun mags are frequently less flexible when compared to the AEG magazines used in smgs and rifles. A lot of airsoft handgun magazines can store around 20 to 30 airsoft BBs.
