About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units usually have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, select a standard group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
Many special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the reputation that originates from completing that mission, task, or operation. When the mission occurred, Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who participated.
Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is normally seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the vest, uniform, or bag panel. Other kinds of patches include iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which heats up to adhere to the placement spot. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and sewing machines to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The primary front of the patch normally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing area.

Morale Patch Care
Most morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches stitched onto uniforms or connected to gear. Nevertheless, it is an excellent choice to take off Velcro patches prior to cleaning since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment. Clean with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
