About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units usually have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, select a basic group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft tournaments usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the reputation that originates from completing that operation, task, or mission. Mission patches are a great method to highlight who participated when the mission took place.
Morale Patch Attachment
Most morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The primary front of the patch generally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing area.
About Empire Tactical USA Morale Patches
Patches like the 10.5×3 Tactical Military (Hook/Loop) Modular Badge Morale Patch Panel Wolf Grey made by the Empire Tactical USA usually hold up pretty well. Ensure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity. Anchoring a thread involves taking a needle with the thread through the eye and stitching the thread back into the material several times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches sewn onto uniforms or connected to gear. However, it is an excellent suggestion to take off Velcro patches prior to washing given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear. Wash with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
