About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and differs text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft squads, and military units generally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a basic group of patches consisting of a couple of morale patches which represent your unit. You can use these team patches for group recognition, awards, achievements, and rank advancements. It is a great method to develop camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the status that originates from finishing that mission, tour of duty, or assignment. Mission patches are an excellent way to highlight who attended when the mission occurred.
Patch Attachment
Many morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the maker. The primary front of the patch generally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing area.
About Sassy Treasures Morale Patches
Patches like the Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Lives Matter 3.5 Embroidery DIY Iron or Sew-on Decorative Patches Pink Ribbon Theme Novelty Applique made by the Sassy Treasures generally hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life.
Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches sewn onto uniforms or connected to equipment. It is an excellent plan to remove Velcro patches prior to cleaning given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment. Clean with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
