About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units generally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, pick a basic group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments generally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who display these patches have the reputation that comes from completing that campaign, mission, or task. Mission patches are a good method to highlight who participated when the mission took place.
Patch Attachment
Many morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The main front of the patch normally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is normally a Velcro loop backing area.
About Quik2U Morale Patches
Patches like the Quik2U Tactical Unicorn PVC Morale Patch 3 T x 4.5 W Glow in The Dark (Green Mane) made by the Quik2U typically hold up pretty well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy.
Morale Patch Care
A lot of morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches sewn onto uniforms or attached to gear. However, it is a great suggestion to take off Velcro patches before washing considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the gear. Clean with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
