About Morale Patches
Morale patches permit you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units usually have a group patch or patch set. If you are a group leader, choose a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who wear these patches have the status that originates from finishing that mission, assignment, or operation. When the mission happened, Mission patches are a good method to highlight who participated.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is typically found on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the uniform, vest, or bag panel. Other types of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to adhere to the positioning spot. Sew-on patches should use sturdy sewing machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the supplier. The primary front of the patch generally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing.
About PVC PATCH Morale Patches
Patches like the Superman Superhero Military Hook Loop Tactics Morale PVC Patch (color2) made by the PVC PATCH generally hold up quite well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s longevity.
Morale Patch Care
It is a great plan to remove Velcro patches before cleaning given that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the gear.
