About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft squads, and military units typically have a team patch or patch set. Choose a basic group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these group patches for team acknowledgment, awards, achievements, and rank advances. It is an excellent method to develop comradery within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Campaign Specific Patches
Many special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who display these patches have the reputation that comes from finishing that task, campaign, or mission. Mission patches are a good way to highlight who participated when the mission took place.
Morale Patch Attachment
Many morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches must use heavy duty sewing machines and matching thread to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the supplier. The main front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing.
About Pars Outdoor Morale Patches
Patches like the 3D PVC Panda with Guns Shooting Panda Rubber PVC Morale Patch made by the Pars Outdoor normally hold up quite well. Make sure to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan.
Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches stitched onto uniforms or attached to equipment. However, it is a good suggestion to remove Velcro patches before washing considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment. Wash with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
