About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are self-confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft groups, and military units generally have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, pick a basic group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
Most special missions, military operations, or airsoft tournaments normally have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the prestige that comes from completing that campaign, task, or mission. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a good method to highlight who attended.
Patch Attachment
Many morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The main front of the patch typically includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing panel.
About OLD GUYS RULE Morale Patches
Patches like the OLD GUYS RULE BBQ & Beer Morale Patches by Pull Patch | Set of 3 | Easy Hook and Loop Attach to Hats, Jeans, Vest, Coat | 2×3 inches | Low Profile, Enclosed Border | Gift for Dad, Husband made by the OLD GUYS RULE generally hold up quite well. Make certain to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life. Anchoring a thread includes taking a needle with the thread through the eye and stitching the thread back into the material several times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This consists of any patches sewn onto uniforms or connected to gear. Nevertheless, it is a good suggestion to remove Velcro patches before cleaning considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To clean detachable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment. Clean with warm soapy water, rub lightly, and pat the patch dry.
