About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are team comradery boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny sayings, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units usually have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a basic group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
A lot of special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions typically have their own patches. Unit members or airsoft players who display these patches have the status that originates from finishing that operation, mission, or task. Mission patches are a good method to highlight who attended when the mission happened.
Morale Patch Attachment
Most morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Sew-on patches need to use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The primary front of the patch normally consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing panel.
About NEO Tactical Gear Morale Patches
Patches like the Video Game Inspired Cola Boy PVC Rubber Morale Patch by NEO Tactical Gear Morale Patch – Hook Backed made by the NEO Tactical Gear normally hold up pretty well. Ensure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy. Anchoring a thread involves taking a needle with the thread through the eye and sewing the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent idea to remove Velcro patches before cleaning because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment.
