About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical equipment in the field and are confidence boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, amusing expressions, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units usually have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, choose a standard group of patches including a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the prestige that comes from finishing that operation, mission, or assignment. Mission patches are a great method to highlight who attended when the mission took place.
Morale Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to attach the patch to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the maker. The primary front of the patch usually includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is generally a Velcro loop backing area.
About Morale Tags Morale Patches
Patches like the Gonzales Flag Come and Take It Tactical Hook and Loop Fully Embroidered Morale Tags Patch (Black and White) made by the Morale Tags generally hold up quite well. Make certain to trim any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming frayed or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s service life. Anchoring a thread includes taking a sewing needle and stitching the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
It is a great idea to remove Velcro patches before washing because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be tough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, take off the patch from the equipment.
