About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are camaraderie boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style differs and includes text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical teams, airsoft teams, and military units typically have a group patch or patch set. Choose a basic group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your unit if you are a team leader. You can use these group patches for team recognition, awards, achievements, and rank advancements. It is a great way to grow camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for exchanging patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.
Campaign Specific Patches
Most special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the reputation that originates from completing that campaign, mission, or task. When the mission took place, Mission patches are an excellent method to highlight who attended.
Patch Attachment
The majority of morale patches attach to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is usually seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, vest, or uniform panel. Other kinds of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to adhere to the placement area. Stitch-on patches should use strong matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU blouse.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The primary front of the patch generally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is usually a Velcro loop backing.
About Minason Morale Patches
Patches like the USMC Force Recon Seal Marines Swift Silent Deadly Skull Morale Tactical Patch Embroidered Applique Attachment Fastener Hook & Loop on Tactical Hat Bags Jackets and Gear made by the Minason normally hold up pretty well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can try to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life. Anchoring a thread involves taking a threaded needle and stitching the thread back into the material a number of times. Sink the loose end of the thread so it cannot keep unraveling.
Morale Patch Care
Many morale patches are machine washable. This includes any patches sewn onto uniforms or attached to gear. It is a great choice to remove Velcro patches prior to washing considering that the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment. Clean with warm soapy water, rub gently, and pat the patch dry.
