About Morale Patches

Morale patches allow you to decorate your tactical equipment in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like film quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style consists of and varies text, images, and graphics.

Morale Patches for Teams

Tactical groups, airsoft squads, and military units usually have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, select a standard group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your squad. You can use these group patches for group acknowledgment, awards, accomplishments, and rank advancements. It is a great way to grow comradery within your unit. You can also keep a few spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied groups.

Campaign Specific Patches

The majority of special missions, military operations, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who use these patches have the reputation that comes from completing that mission, operation, or assignment. When the mission happened, Mission patches are a good way to highlight who was there.

Morale Patch Attachment

A lot of morale patches connect to equipment, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. The hook side is typically seen on the back of the patch with the loop attachment side on the bag, uniform, or vest panel. Other kinds of patches consist of iron-on and sew-on. Iron-on patches use an adhesive glue-like backing which warms up to adhere to the positioning area. Stitch-on patches should use strong matching thread and sewing machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.

Kinds Of Patch Material

Morale patch material depends upon the producer. The main front of the patch normally includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing panel.
