About Morale Patches
Morale patches enable you to decorate your tactical gear in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, amusing phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style varies and consists of text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Teams
Tactical groups, airsoft groups, and military units normally have a team patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, select a basic group of patches consisting of a few morale patches which represent your unit.
Mission Specific Patches
Many special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions normally have their own patches. Unit members or game players who wear these patches have the reputation that comes from completing that campaign, task, or mission. When the mission took place, Mission patches are a good way to highlight who attended.
Morale Patch Attachment
Many morale patches connect to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches should use heavy duty stitching machines and matching thread to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Types of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends on the manufacturer. The primary front of the patch typically includes embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are stitched and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing.
About Miltacusa Morale Patches
Patches like the Boba Fett Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Patch (PVC Rubber- Glow Dark) made by the Miltacusa usually hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming undone or unraveling. You can attempt to cut or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s life expectancy.
Morale Patch Care
It is a good plan to take off Velcro patches before cleaning since the wear and tear of a washing machine can be hard on the patch. To clean removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment.
