About Morale Patches
Morale patches allow you to embellish your tactical gear in the field and are team morale boosters. These patches are styled around things like movie quotes, memes, funny phrases, quips, and other off-the-cuff remarks. The patch design style includes and varies text, images, and graphics.
Morale Patches for Groups
Tactical groups, airsoft teams, and military units typically have a group patch or patch set. If you are a team leader, pick a basic group of patches including a couple of morale patches which represent your squad. You can use these group patches for team recognition, awards, accomplishments, and rank advances. It is an excellent method to grow camaraderie within your unit. You can also keep a couple of spares on-hand for swapping patches with patch collectors, friendly units, or allied teams.
Mission Specific Patches
The majority of special missions, military campaigns, or airsoft competitions usually have their own patches. Unit members or players who use these patches have the prestige that originates from completing that assignment, mission, or operation. When the mission happened, Mission patches are a good way to highlight who attended.
Morale Patch Attachment
A lot of morale patches attach to gear, uniforms, tactical vests, and bags using Velcro or hook and loop attachment backing. Stitch-on patches must use heavy duty matching thread and stitching machines to attach to a uniform or BDU shirt.
Kinds Of Patch Material
Morale patch material depends upon the supplier. The primary front of the patch usually consists of embroidered thread or PVC plastic material. The edges of the patch are sewn and the back is typically a Velcro loop backing panel.
About Miltacusa Morale Patches
Patches like the Miltacusa Stormtrooper USA Flag Rogue 3-D PVC Rubber Hook Patch (ACU-MTS1) made by the Miltacusa usually hold up quite well. Make sure to cut any loose threads to keep the patch stitching or embroidered patch edges from coming reversed or unraveling. You can attempt to trim or anchor any loose threads to extend the patch’s lifespan.
Morale Patch Care
It is an excellent idea to remove Velcro patches prior to cleaning because the wear and tear of a washing machine can be rough on the patch. To wash removable PVC patches with Velcro attachments, remove the patch from the equipment.
